The General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom reached a

those schools and the Council concluded the schools no longer met the
minimum standards required to obtain a medical license in the United

institutions will no longer be able to practice medicine in the United

REACTIONS; What Nigerians Think?

Gabbage in Gabbage out. This is the end product of dishonesty and
cheating in our
educational system.Parents and teachers are all part of the
problems.Lecturers are not paid ,
they demand sex for a grade and most of them with fake Phd's .Parents
also encourage
dishonesty by giving money to their offsprings to go and bribe
lecturers or pay for somebody
to sit for their exams. As for the students most of them are more
interested in armed robbery
and cultism than learning.Visit our so called top universities and
check the facilities,environment
libraries, labs and technology and you will be convince that this
decision was justified.
So the way out is to introduce HSC AND A/LEVELS OR BACCL.as an entry
requirements
into Universities and not this JAMB business that has watered down the
system.The introduction
will eliminate most of the cheating and will ensure only those with the
grade are allowed into the
system. This is what Oyo state is trying to do at the moment.

NIGERIANS,

Did they say that Once the Head Rots it will Naturally Affect every
PART of the Body? This is a very good example of how the Mighty has
fallen to pieces!! By the way, same goes to every other Professional
Degrees being awarded in Most of Nigeria's Higher Institutions and down
to the High school level. Has anybody read any letter from relatives,
who are supposed to have graduated from these Nigerian Higher
Institutions recently? This will tell You the whole story of Nigeria's
Educational standard.

BTW, what kind of education can one expect from institutions, where
their professors and Lecturers give Pass Grade to ONLY those whom they
sleep with, and those who bribe them with Loads of money??? That is the
Root of the Problem with Nigeria's sub-standard Educational System!!
Many students of these higher institutions Do NOT actually have to
attend any lectures to be graduated and awarded degrees, as long as
they meet the criteria mentioned above, Sex and Doe!!

The slogan in present Nigeria is: You Chop, where You work!! It is,
therefore, Corruption Limited Corporation, from the very Top to the
Bottom of Every Nigeria Estblishments!! From the Presidency, the
Governors, through the Ministers and on to the Least labourer, it is
the Order of the Day!! Nobody wants to board Last!! The result of this
Decay and Dishonesty has started to Yield some Results. It is about
time!! Heaven Helps this Nation!! Sad and Very Shameful!!

Where are those, who are busy sending their kids to Nigeria to Learn
the Culture, the Language, and the rest of the things which will are
supposed to help our kids in Life, and are supposedly Very good for the
Nigerian kids born abroad? It is Your Call!! However, be Educated that
all these cultural Knowledge for the kids are NOT Really of any Value,
when it comes to what it takes to have a Well Groomed and Educated
Human Being in our present world!! Nevertheless, our lack of good
Education as fathers and mothers to these our kids have handicapped
most of us from Understanding what makes Universal sense to help Our
Kids' Full Development and Growth as Gentle and Sound Human
Beings. Hopefully YOU Learning? Yes, hurry up to send All Your Kids to
Nigeria for better Cultural Education, including how to become
Dishonest, Armed robbers and Kidnapers!! Otoiheoma Egbe.

Some of these "universities" so-called are just glorified secondary
schools. Suits Nigeria right. Pity the poor students. However, many of
them mago mago their way into what they call medical school. That is no
news. Soon, the freeloading hobo called bolaji aluko and the yet to be
built chicken coop at Otueke, he was named as "vc" will start putting
out assorted creatures with assorted papers in the name of degrees!
That's what we are talking about. The foolish thing bolaji aluko must
have branded "vc" on his forehead; and with that he bragged, he would
go to the university where according to him, I studied in Nigeria, and
have the "vc" yank my degree. What a silly diarrhea mouth pigeon head
he is. He is a thug, too. All must remember when once he allowed here,
they would go "house to house" to fish out someone who as much as
disagreed with him. That's bolaji aluko the THUG. But Me, university in
Nigeria?! Never, ever crossed my mind, even in my infancy. The bozo
will have to go to the NUMBER CITY in the world, the mother of all
cities in the US of A, in the EMPIRE STATE for that matter, to talk
about my degrees, and not in one of the best schools therein, but three
of them. When you spend time in Nigeria as as student, eyeing balls of
akara and plates of akamu, over which you fight or strike sometimes,
and later find yourself in a big black city, in a black college, you
think you arrived. That is bolji aluko. Now, you have a thug as "vc".
Nigeria going down, down.

Na waoooh. Akubueze, someone told me you are among the fighting
contingent trying to secure south from North Korea after Kim the boy
died last week. Are you back?
The destruction of the Nigerian educational system took years and
dedicated planning to occur and has now been accomplished. The quickest
way was the introduction of JAMB, in which Nigeria military educational
ministers, in their madness to continue the civil war and genocidal war
against Igbo used it to introduce the so called "educationally
disadvantaged region" (the North) used it to weed Igbo from gaining
admission into several Universities especially Norther University and
where Northern candidates with lower scores were given priorities over
Southern candidates with higher scores. With no where else to go,
Southerners massively sought education outside the shores of Nigeria,
mostly in Western nations with hope to return to Nigeria after 4 to 7
years to continue the nation building. By the time those who left in
the 70s and 80s were ready to return to Nigeria, IBB and his fellow
looters had destroyed what was left of Nigeria economy, dignity and
foreign reserves and introduced the so called Structural Adjustment
Program (SAP) or called austerity measure in the Nigerian street
parlance, and which came with it, the devaluation of the niara. Nigeria
and Nigerians since then have not recovered from poverty, crimes,
infrastructural decay, collapse of educational system etc. Is there any
wonder that those who are running the affairs of the country now are
people like Jonathan Goodluck, who were largely the beneficiaries of
the educational affirmative action, expos, and severely malnourished
educational programs. These kids do no know what it takes to be well
grounded and earn whatever degree one possessed with honesty, dignity
and ability to defend it. Is it any surprise or wonder, that, while
Barak Obamas. Sakozi etc are commissioning or supervising unmanned
vehicles to to Mars to search for life, and unmanned drones to watch
over Iran's mad activities, the Nigerian Jonathans are commissioning
cement factories and beating his chest that they are the new Nigerian
industrial bigmouth to replace the oil industry, and that they can
create 1000 jobs? Imagine the disgrace. Its a shame.

Hey! Stop bitching, start a revolution - simple

This is SAD!! Back in the days one burns the midnight candles to gain
admission into institutions like University of Nigeria Nsukka or UN
Enugu campus. In fact, it was a thing of pride to be an undergrad of
any of the federal universities, especially the premier universities.
It is sad how the mighty has fallen. For University of Nigeria's
medical school to be amongst those blacklisted is quite telling!

Contrary to the affected doctors suing the U.K for disqualifying them
from practicing (which, by the way, they have the right to set the
criteria for qualifications to practice medicine or any trade or
vocation in their domain), the Nigerian doctors should rather sue the
various universities that awarded them substandard degrees that
couldn't pass muster in the international market. But then the question
is, was there any contract between the universities and the
students/graduates that their degrees would pass international or U.K
's scrutiny? What's that word again "caveat emptor"or Buyers beware!

It is heart breaking that our political leaders have their priorities
all twisted. Instead of leaving a positive legacy they are busy taking
care of their selfish interest. It is a sad commentary that most of
these so called leaders send their children abroad for education;
hence, they are not interested in the quality of education in Nigeria.
Very sad indeed!

Btw, do we still have a federal ministry for education? Isn't time
somebody do something about this highly embarrassing problem?
