One of the young women we supported in school to prevent her being trafficked by her family into sexual exploitation in Europe just graduated. Now, I am working on a project to give micro credit to women with daughters (who may be at risk of being trafficked) to enable them set up an economic activity to take care of themselves and of their daughters. I want to publicize this as there is every good reason to believe it will be possible to get the financing. The idea is to give up to 100,000 naira at a very low interest rate, payable over a period of 2 years. The money recovered will be spent to finance other women. Is this likely to be of interest for your radio or tv programme?
Thanks.
