STOPPING KIDNAPPING IN EDO STATE;

Your call for suggestions is irresistible to the genuine advocates of good intentions for our dear state. Here we go:
1) Let all pilgrims (Christian or Muslim) sponsor themselves. Government has no moral or whatever reason to pump hundreds of million Naira into any religious jamboree. More funds will by this be freed for development. Religion is personal. Period!
2) Outlaw all manner of Ticketing / Revenue Collection by individuals. The double tragedy is that these revenue contractors collect average of N3m to N4m daily and grudgingly pay about N1m MONTHLY to government. These individuals become so stupendously rich that they rise above the law. They become murderers in broad day light with absolute impunity. Kidnappers hold these characters as their idols and role models and so would want to acquire comparable wealth and social status since obviously the government have seemingly been rewarding their malfeasance with APPOINTMENTS!
