EDO WOMEN'S WEEK; We want to recognise, encourage and celebrate women from Edo state or affliated, contributing towards the rebuilding our beloved Edo state

Thank you for all the suggestions received to our last week's campaign on the causes of kidnapping and how we stop or reduce this act in Edo state. Red factor appreciates and I guarantee your message is still in motion. The leaders of our state are starting to know how to tackle the problem properly and hopefully cleverly. We deliver the news by keeping it alive.  Please feel free to send in more suggestions if anymore spring to mind.

This week we want to acknowledge Women of Edo state in diaspora or in Edo state. We mean any tribe that has hailed or is affiliated with Edo state. We have being attacked for not
recognising alot of other tribes that have spent their whole lives in Edo state and to this end we apologize, kindly feel free to tell us any concern of Edo state and suggestions to help fix it.

Some Edo Women have taken the fight of trafficking girls from Edo state to the western world very literally and doing what they can to prevent this trend. They are women like Esohe Aghatise in Italy, the AAWE foundation (Association against women export) Texas, is deeply committed to eliminating all forms of trafficking in humans, the exploitation of women generally, and Edo women and children in particular. We have other women like Tina Iyare, a professional from Philadelphia who has championed scholarships, computers and books to youths of Edo state, then 25 yrs old Monica Okhikhe of silverbird Edo state who is constantly promoting Edo artiste and giving them a career platform as an alternative to crime.
These women are the mothers of our state and we need to encourage them and other women to follow suite.

Women have a role to play in our society. This week we want to recognise, encourage and celebrate as much Edo women as possible. Thank you. Your Efforts are not going unnoticed.

Red factor wants to publicise achievements of Edo women as inspiration for other Edo women to follow and Role models for the under priveleged girls of Edo state.

Regards

Red Factor
