EFCC BOSS SAYS NIGERIANS ARE NOT READY TO FIGHT CORRUPTION, WELL, HERES WHAT NIGERIANS SAY ABOUT HER.

FARIDA MUST GO : NIGERIANS ARE NOT READY TO FIGHT CORRUPTION- FARIDA WAZIRI!!!

The only way to fight corruption is for Mrs Waziri to resign or preferably fired for cross incompetence . Mrs Waziri is as corrupt as corruption comes . Since she assumed the leadership of the Anti-Corruption Agency , her husband and a whole set of her family and friends have become rich , super rich , according to our usually reliable sources in Abuja . She has not been serious in fighting corruption . And I want to challenge any Nigerian or her supporters ( if any ) to show me who Madam Waziri has prosecuted effectively on corruption since she assumed the Chairmanship position of EFCC .....None .

The Agency is as corrupt as the corrupt people they were asked to fight . One source told a foreign Press just last week that corruption within the Agency is mind boggling . For example , bribery and pay-offs to abandon existing investigations are rampant . Infact , Mrs Waziri was put there for a purpose - to protect the Super-Corrupt among Nigerians . So if Nigeria is serious about fighting corruption , Mrs Waziri must Go ...

Have your say ......

Ikenna, now you can see why deep down most Nigerian rue the fact that Gen Buhari has not ruled Nigeria, as an executive president.

Mrs Farida believes that to fight corruption there has to be a cultural shift and re-orientation in the polity. It is a fact that there is only one man in recent memory/history in Nigeria who had achieved that. It was Gen Buhari with his WAI campaign. I lived it and witnessed how a culture of discipline and respect for public resources were becoming the mainstay in the polity, until the gap- toothed general came along and upended everything.
The truth is that if that revolution introduced by the duo of Buhari and Idiagbon had sustained Nigeria would have made tremendous progress in achieving her manifest destiny in socioeconomic transformation!

Indeed what will save Nigeria is a leader with the intestinal fortitude for bold leadership and vision to chart a formidable course for Nigeria. Much as most of us were sympathetic with GEJ for the effrontery and hardihood exhibited by the political gangsters in his party to hound him, and create the impression that they had inalienable claim to the rulership of Nigeria, the fact remains that most were skeptical about the preparedness and ability of GEJ to rise up to the onerous demands of ruling Nigeria in a secure and corruption-free manner. Of course the prevalence of all manner, and even unprecedented forms, of insecurity, the pervasive cancer of corruption and economic marginalization of the masses now in the country, bear that notion out...

Sim,

Yes, Buhari & Idiagbon Leadership prevailed in instilling DISCIPLINE to Nigerians, due to the Nature of their Profession, as very Disciplined Army Officers. These were brought up in an institution that breathes, eats and sleeps with DISCIPLINE. Subsequetly the ONLY life they know about is a Life of a Disciplinarian. That was why they succeeded for the short time they lasted, before IBB came to power to take Corruption to the Next Higher Level, to cover his own tracks.

I doubt it very much, if any civilian administration of Nigeria can ever stop the Indiscipline, the Corruption and all the ills that are eating up this nation into pieces!! This will take  ONLY a Ruthless Dictator to eradicate the Decay in Nigeria, just like the Ghana example, with Rawlings; before ANYTHING Good can take root in Nigeria!!

Progress can ONLY come to any individual or groups of them, by DISCIPLINE, period!! It is that  kind of a Leader, that can enforce Law and Order, else it will be choas and Indiscipline till Thy Kingdom Come!! You Get it?

It is getting worse year in, and year out; with the baton being handed over from one administration to the other!! Heaven helps Nigeria!! Otoiheoma Egbe
Tony and Simon, yall know that Buhari's presence at the helm will spell NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL. Buhari - the man with REMEDY OF PRESENCE. The small thief below yall Onyeoshi Umukah 1...hello thief! has an inkling about that, and so the  big thieves, sons of thieves and daughters of thieves..reason why they'd rather die than see a man of honor who broods no nonsense at the helm. Them thieves were all packed, ready to check out like "Andrew", when they had a sense Buhari might was coming. Meanwhile, let them rejoice, the thieves, I mean. But bear in mind the age old saying...."everyday is for the thief, one day is for the owner of the house". No thief hearkens to that saying, till it is too late.
