BENIN CITY- Two-time Governor of the defunct Bendel State, Dr Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia has called on the people of Edo South Senatorial District to join hands with him towards advancing the lot of the Benin people.

Dr Ogbemudia gave the charge in a statement in which he expressed his resolve to work with other Benin people to advance the lot of the people of Edo South Senatorial District.

While expressing the fears that the Benins were increasingly losing out in terms of relevance in the country, Dr Ogbemudia charged the people of Edo South to put their differences aside and work together for the preservation of the proud history of Benin as well as redouble their contributions to the advancement of the nation.

“Qualitatively, the rest of the country cannot do without the Benins. God knew this, and endowed us with mental acumen, such that qualitatively our approach to issues is second to none” the statement declared.
