General Babangida is ill

A former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, is ill and on admission at a German hospital.
Babangida, who left the country a few weeks ago for what was reported to be a routine medical check-up, was said to have been indisposed for quite some time now.
A source close to the hospital in Germany said the former president, who had a successful operation for an undisclosed ailment, was initially in critical condition a few minutes after the operation, but had since stabilised.
However, a source close to his family told the Nigerian Tribune that he spoke with Babangida by phone on his sick bed in Germany at about 4.10 p.m. (Nigerian time) on Thursday and that there was no cause for anxiety over his health.
All efforts to get through to his media aide, Mr Kassim Afegbua, were unsuccessful, as he neither responded to calls nor to the text message sent to him.

Malam Yakubu, haba. Its been a long time, but happy. Wa mooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I humbly submit that Islam is a peaceful religion that some are using to feather their nests.

Yakubu,

Please, Wish IBB well and extended Life to complete his Karma to the fullest!! It is just the right wish for him. If he seizes to live from this minor ailment now, then he will NOT get the Full Dose of his Karma for all that he has put Nigerians through, both Positives and NEGATIVES!! Allah INA ANA; KA BA MU DUKA, DA IBB LAFIA!! Otoiheoma Egbe.

IBB will most certainly not be top of my Get Well Soon list, that's for sure.

But for supporters of evil men, I can understand their sorrow that the evil genius is on the sick bed.....

Musa Zubairu, one of those who will cry for Babangida as they cry for Gaddaffi as the cry for Osama Bin Laden as they cry for Sadam Hussein and for every evil dictator or ex-dictator out there. IBB will most certainly not be top of my Get Well Soon list, that's for sure. But for supporters of evil men, I can understand their sorrow that the evil genius is on the sick bed!

Some of us are too clumsy with their thoughts...is IBB above death? This is a man who enlisted in the Nigeria Army and rose to the peak position of a 4stars General, fought the Nigerian Civil war, Carried out many missions....must have known before now that the inevitable end of any Man is death... IBB is a good believer of GOD...many leaders before IBB died not only in Nigeria but the World over....where is Zik of Africa, Awo of the famous West, sir Micheal Imodu, Aminu Kano...too numerous to mention.
Is  Ikemba Ojukwu of the Biafra fame who is now seriously sick a weak man?
Death coming to any mortal is NOT Weakness...I wonder what a goof like you will celebrate if IBB were to die...being sick is not an approved sign of death... I hate to be responding to this kind of careless issues...
IBB is lucky to have had the opportunity of service to Nigeria... While we believe every soul is going to test the bitter taste of death...Prophets of God, Saint etc tasted death

Alhaji Musa, we're on the same page here. You said IBB is not afraid of Death, so Afis prays God should give IBB a thousand but slow painful and agonizing deaths.
Alhaji Musa, you bragged IBB is not a weak man, and Afis prays that Allah should put him in hellfire from Earth to al-qiyaomah,      just to prove Musa is right that IBB can hold his own in the Garden of pain and sorrow.....example, IBB should by now be wheelchair bound, unable to use the toilet independently , enjoying the hellfire of INCONTINENCE, pee-ing an d shitting all over himself uncontrollably. That would be a good road to a thousand deaths. Musa, you agree?
Thanks, let us learn to understand each other, my peoples. You see , Alhaji Musa , how close we are on the wishes for IBB?Shikena, afis
